Greetings everyone, With the announcement of guidelines and restrictions placed on items sold in SL and on XStreet (please see the following link) https://www.xstreetsl.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=22 such as DC or Marvel, Star Trek, Babylon 5, any inspired by items of RW products, of Superheroes, Heroes, Mutants, you name it, we at Mutant Lives will effectively as of this notice be removing our products from XStreet SL and also in the future, removing all products that fit the Branding policies and Guidelines. We have always strived to create 100% by hand all items following what the DMCA allowed but now with these new guidelines that is not enough. All DC/Marvel/ Superheroes will be removed as will any Avatars based on likeness of characters. All items that do not effectively cross the line will remain but it may not be enough for us to continue to hold land in SL, only time will tell. Also in the future, items will be renamed as such to not reflect any asso

Getting Money in SL

The most time-efficient way to get Lindens is to do an RL job and buy Lindens with the proceeds. You can buy Lindens from Linden Lab at https://secondlife.com/currency/buy.php One US dollar will buy somewhere between 250 and 300 Linden, usually closer to 275 or 290. The most fun-efficient way is to develop an SL skill that people are willing to pay for. Making stuff is popular - clothing, hair, furniture, animations, sounds, buildings - everything. This probably amounts to making your own job! Run a small business selling your products, or ask around finding people who want what you can make. DJs are in demand, but do brush up on music broadcasting law. Skilled event organisers are also in demand, and NCI has a class on event organisation. Dancers are common, but while some clubs that hire dancers actually want people to dance, others use it as a synonym for prostitute. Ask questions, and look at the environment. Also, of course, there are plenty of jobs in the sex industry. Some peopl

Age verification again

https://blogs.secondlife.com/message/7158 Boroondas Gupte "You can join Teen Second Life on the same page as the Second Life for adults. On which of these variants you'll get after subscribing depends on the real life date of birth you're giving there. (Note that the Terms of Service require you to give true and accurate data when subscribing, so you can't choose between teen and adult Second Life.) For neither you are required to give a mobile phone number. Age Verification is one of the ways to get "Account Verified" (the other ways being to have payment info on file with either secondlife.com or XStreetSL). It is supposed to prove that you're an adult, so I don't think it is available for members of Teen Second Life at all. Age Verification might ask for different legal documents for different nationalities/countries of residence, but I don't think it would ask for a mobile phone number, either. If you ended up in the "wrong" vari
