Today was the Day of Remembrance is Seocond Life. A day to remember friends, young and old. I would have liked to send a candle out to sea with a friend's name on it again this year, but I was disapointed when I saw there was no place set up like last years. Bad thoughts aside, I went and paid my virtual respects to those that have gone before me. Lira Wylie, I will never forget you. I went over to the Linden Memorial Park sim to light a candle and remember some people we lost last year. One in particular is Lira Wylie - A DJ, a Charity worker, and a great friend. She dj'ed at the Vortex in Second Life. ALL her tips went to a cause of some type. Was always there to lend a hand and a ear. Always a true friend till the end. We miss you at the vortex. I miss you in my heart. She didn't die, just moved on in first life. A real hero. She told me that I could go out and live my life. Someone had reported her to the Lindens just to grieff. I must say that is a bad way to live your Second Life. Maybe they did it just cause she was a child AVATAR. This also means that everyone is a victom. Think about it, if you were just enjoying your SL time and all of a sudden, for no reason, you get booted. Which means someone looked at your profile and reported you for being you. All the grieffer had to do....... I'm not going to say here, but you can imagine the cowardice that goes into an act like that.
