Today was the Day of Remembrance is Seocond Life. A day to remember friends, young and old. I would have liked to send a candle out to sea with a friend's name on it again this year, but I was disapointed when I saw there was no place set up like last years. Bad thoughts aside, I went and paid my virtual respects to those that have gone before me. Lira Wylie, I will never forget you. UPDATE: I did find the area where the candles are. http://slurl.com/secondlife/San%20Michele/70/153/21 I sent a candle out for Lira, but it's also there to represent all my friends I've lost over the year.

I went over to the Linden Memorial Park sim to light a candle and remember some people we lost last year. One in particular is Lira Wylie - A DJ, a Charity worker, and a great friend. She dj'ed at the Vortex in Second Life. ALL her tips went to a cause of some type. Was always there to lend a hand and a ear. Always a true friend till the end. We miss you at the vortex. I miss you in my heart. She didn't die, just moved on in first life. A real hero. She told me that I could go out and live my life.
