Pick my pic out

Can you pic out my piccy? I'll give you a hint, it shows only my back.

The Hair HUD

I was having a little problem with IW's veiwer. It seems that hair was in a place where a HUD would go. I was told to do the following: 1. Set bandwith to 1200 2. Set cache size as high as you can. I set mine to 980 3. Clear cache 4. Re-log I was also told to use Imprudence veiwer, but was also told the InWorldz veiwer is better than Imprudence. I guess that's your preference. There was the same problem on another grid and was told to just hide HUDs. Whatever works for you.

I'll miss you guys too.

Rage quit FTW!!!!

I'm rage quitting Second Life. Let me explain.... It all started with Estarn Kenyon my co-club owner. He has Asperger syndrome, which seems to be a social problem of his. Meaning he can't interact with others well. That should be no excuse. He had a rezz day party not long ago in sl at his club. A fried of mine went and bought (or made, I forget which) a item for Estarn. Instead of accepting the gift and going on with life he got pissed off at her and eventually told her to "kill herself". Now my friend has been having a lot of medical problems since January. I worry about her a lot and hope that this post finds her in better spirits. It makes me mad that he says stupid shit to her and is still in SL. I doubt he has this condition that some people say he does. I think he's a rich, spoiled brat. At one time he asked me for Lindens (money) to help pay for such things as the club stream and parcel rent for the club. Then he and his brother asked for money to pay for ...

OMG!!! I'm in a real life book.

I got a pic taken of my back sometime in November of last year. At first I just thought it was a art project in Second Life. Now it's a lot more than that. http://1000avatars.wordpress.com/ As it seems there's a lot of tinies that did the same thing for this project. All we did was get a picture taken of our backs (avatar's backs) and that was it. I never knew it would be this big. I'll add her link in my list.

F--k Your TOS????

Because we are tired of people squeezing their brains to find a semi-legal way to tell us they are going to f**k with our privacy rights. Because no, they can't spread our IMs or our info without our written consent. Because they forgot they ACCEPTED TOS when they installed the SL viewer. If you don't want to respect TOS, do us a favor and download RL. You can LOG chat. You can NOT share it without ACTUAL PERMISSION. Here's a Disclaimer: By reading my profile, you agree to NOT copy & share my chat. If you have a disclaimer saying you can copy and share my chat, your disclaimer is in conflict with mine, thus making it null and void. (IE: you're an idiot, please just mute me now, JERKFACE!) To all those that has that in their profile , I just shared this with the world. You can mute me now.

Alzheimer's Disease

Alzheimer's disease (AD), also called Alzheimer disease, senile dementia of the Alzheimer type, primary degenerative dementia of the Alzheimer's type, or simply Alzheimer's, is the most common form of dementia. This incurable, degenerative, and terminal disease was first described by German psychiatrist and neuropathologist Alois Alzheimer in 1906 and was named after him.[1] Most often, it is diagnosed in people over 65 years of age,[2] although the less-prevalent early-onset Alzheimer's can occur much earlier. In 2006, there were 26.6 million sufferers worldwide. Alzheimer's is predicted to affect 1 in 85 people globally by 2050.[3] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alzheimer%27s_disease

Dementia

Dementia (taken from Latin, originally meaning "madness", from de- "without" + ment, the root of mens "mind") is a serious loss of cognitive ability in a previously unimpaired person, beyond what might be expected from normal aging. It may be static, the result of a unique global brain injury, or progressive, resulting in long-term decline due to damage or disease in the body. Although dementia is far more common in the geriatric population, it may occur in any stage of adulthood. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dementia My rl mother has it and I'm taking care of her. I'll explain more later.

May we never forget what it was all for...
