There was a formal dance last night that I had missed. However, I did make it there in time to make a donation. The dance was hosted by the JLU (Justice League Unlimited) and was set in the Big Band Era. Fancy dresses, suits and tuxedos. Today I had received these: I wanted to take time to thank the wonderful and very creative people who hosted yesterday's fundraising event in Second Life. I saw the images on the Krypton Radio site and it looked like you all captured the essence of that era so perfectly! In representing the families of the missing, it is important that you know how much these efforts mean to all of us. We're not a "popular" cause, and the majority of the general public doesn't know about the crisis going on behind the scenes, and of the difficulties faced by the families we serve. When we're given help, it helps us know people care, and gives us that boost to keep going one more day, to keep searching, and to never give up, no matter what ...
