Showing posts with the label birth

My blog turns 3 yrs old

Not my birthday, my blog's birthday. Three years ago I started to blog my fun times in second life (TM) and have had so much fun doing it. Through good times and bad I've made note of all things great and small. Looking back, I can see now some posts I wish I hadn't posted and some I wish I made better. There's always room for improvement and growth. With that said, I have made my blog a better look and will continue to do so as time goes on. I have now moved onto three other grids and will blog about those soon as well. With my blog I will try to show the many other grids that exists in the Meta verse. I’m like a virtual reporter letting everyone know of this different means of social networking. Not to worry though as I will still be in SL most of the time. In fact I’ll be posting a few things in the coming days and weeks on my own in world fun. There’s always more fun to be had. Happy birthday to you blog and happy party to all my readers. My we have many more years ...

SecondLife 6th Birthday Event - NCI Exhibit Contest

SecondLife 6th Birthday Event - NCI Exhibit Contest SecondLife's 6th birthday is fast approaching and a huge event is in the works for all of SL. The NCI Events team staff is busy at work planning and building the NCI Exhibit and we can't wait for you all to visit. This years exhibit is being prepared in support of both NCI and Caledon and we are working within the design definition posted on the sl6b wiki page. (That definition is at the bottom of this notecard.) Our exhibit will be named "Forward --- To the 19th Century" Your challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to build "something" to be added to our exhibit, that reflects not only the full event theme but the NCI/Caledon exhibit name as well. What you build is entirely up to you. The winning entry will be on display at our exhibit throughout the full two weeks. A prize of $L 1000 Lindens will be awarded to the winner. Here are the simple ...

The Second Life 6th Birthday Celebration takes place on the main Second Life Grid and is a PG event for Adults 18 years and older. The definition of PG within Second Life can be found here. Happy Rezz Day to me....

I can't belive I'm one year old. A second life rezz day is the same as a birthday. Even if you use a avie (avatar) that looks 10 years old you still count the days. This time last year I never thought I'd stay and make it this long. I have an addictive personality. Virtual worlds are an addiction to many people because of the people in them. For me anyways. I've made a lot of friends and seen and did a lot of stuff. Much more than what has been covered so far. I now have some new avies for the fun of it. I hope to have more neat pics to show soon and some old. I also hope to upload my pics in a Flickr account like so many SLers use including Lorimae Undercroft, Quite Oh and Torly. What's coming in the next year? I don't know, but whatever it is, I'm ready for it. I hope you are.
